Life, as I know it.

Wow. Praise the Lord I got a job! And my friend lent me a bike... So I've been biking around a bit in my neighborhood.:) Can't you just see it? The hippie chick in Hickville, USA riding her bike around...

The unfortunate thing about not having internet is that I can't blog when I want, and I lose all inspiration; then of course I ramble when I actually do get on here. I'd love to come up with something fantastic and awe-inspiring every time, but oftentimes it's the simple things in life that are the hardest to explain. Getting this job has been amazing, and such a God thing, and then still there are so many things in life unaccomplished or unfinished. But in the midst of unfinished business, there is always a peace. And how wonderful is that? That the God of the universe would be so wonderful as to give me a peace despite semi-crises or chaos? It's pretty mind blowing.

Off of that subject, this is shaping up to be a pretty fantastic summer. The fourth was a day of chilling out and eating wonderful food, plus playing wiffleball in the rain, and sitting on the roof to watch fireworks. I've been thinking though, about involving God in all my days, and plans. Today's devo was about that. And it really struck home. We plan so much in the everyday without including God and then wonder why we feel so far away from Him. We ought to plan every day including God, first and foremost, because then it truly does compute out that He is our way of life.

commit your way to the Lord and trust also in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart......
