Fathoms

I'm making a video for an expat scholarship I found. And as much as I love working on projects, I'm starting to get annoyed at Audacity, our type of Garageband... (You know, like a mini recording studio on your computer).. I'm reminded though, the reason I'm doing this. Not just to get money, although that would be nice. But I want this video to explain and describe my love for this country. The basis of the video is to explain your favorite thing about your host country. And I love that despite the poverty, you can look everywhere and see people smiling. It's profound. Last night a woman in our church came up to me and told me that she is praying for me and my family. That she prays for me all the time and that she knows that I'm not laboring in vain, and that I will be rewarded for my labors. It was so encouraging and actually made me cry. I am in awe that I even get to be here. If all that I ever got was this experience, it would be reward enough. The very idea that God will bless me above and beyond all that He has already poured out on me, is almost too much to handle. I can not fathom it.  But praise the Lord that I don't have to. He is so above and beyond us. He is a beautiful mystery and I am blessed to be apart of His master plan. May He use me and bless through me. Amen and Selah.

But I have trusted in Your mercy,
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because He has dealt bountifully with me.
Ps. 13:5-6

  1. Hey let me know if you need help with Audacity. It's not really anything like garage band but I use it to demo songs sometimes. Good luck!
