New horizons

Life is an adventure, this I know. But lately I've been realizing more and more just how true that really is. And last night I felt it especially. I am so blessed. It's funny how the little things in life make you realize it. My brother and sister in law gave me an old iPod touch and now I can get online whenever I need to. And ooh .. The other night in prayer, I asked God to give me wisdom about being involved and I asked that if He wanted me involved in a particular play, the leader himself would come up to me first. And twenty minutes later he did!! And in prayer a little later I thought about how easy it was to have compassion on the Malagasy people and how I have lost my compassion for Americans in general. And guess what my pastor preached a sermon on that night?? Yes. Compassion. The Lord is doing a marvelous work in me and I can feel it. How glorious it is to stand before the Almighty and call Him my best friend!! Praise the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me blesses His holy name!
